As an Automation Engineer, you play a crucial role in ensuring the performance and safety of production equipment.
You work within the Maintenance team and are responsible for optimizing, modernizing, and maintaining various systems such as control technology, instrumentation, drive technology, and PLC systems.

Your tasks include:

  • Ensuring the availability of production equipment and participating in working groups to support process optimization and maintenance plans.
  • Analyzing the quality and reliability of installations and assessing inspection reports.
  • Identifying improvement opportunities and executing modifications.
  • Assisting in the preparation and planning of large-scale maintenance and small-scale projects.
  • Documenting and sharing technical knowledge about installations and processes.
  • A Bachelor diploma in electrical engineering, control engineering, instrumentation or likewise is required.
  • Thorough knowledge of instrumentation, control, and drive technology.
  • Good command of Afrikaans and English, both spoken and written.
  • Several years of experience with control system software, process visualization, drive technology, as well as reporting and maintenance systems.
