As a Lead Engineer in Industrial Automation, you will independently and collaboratively specify, design, and program PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems for clients in machine building and process industries. In addition to your technical responsibilities, you act as the internal project leader for your team, overseeing task distribution and ensuring the successful execution of projects.
You will maintain frequent communication with clients and handle project-related technical correspondence. Furthermore, you will be responsible for commissioning control systems on-site at (end) customers. Your work will take place both in-house and on customer locations. As a key expert in electrical installations and/or software engineering, you will serve as a vital knowledge resource for our clients.
In short, this role offers a dynamic and diverse challenge within a multidisciplinary environment.

Your Role

As an Engineer Industrial Automation, you will be responsible for:

  • Take the lead within your team and collaborate with the department manager to align with the company’s strategy.
  • Discuss and distribute responsibilities within the team to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Maintain frequent communication with clients and handle all project-related technical correspondence.
  • Oversee the commissioning of control systems on-site at (end) customers.
  • Work both in-house and at customer locations, depending on project requirements.
  • -Provide support and expertise in areas such as electrical installations and software engineering when needed.
  • A Bachelor or Master degree in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering;
  • Experience in PLC programming (Siemens S7, TIA Portal Beckhoff TwinCAT en SCADA software);
  • Fluent in English (German or Dutch is a plus).
