As a Control System Engineer you are responsible for analyzing and resolving malfunctions of the machines in the most modern engine factory in the Netherlands. Consider the following activities:

  • Continuously improving machine controls;
  • Troubleshooting industrial PC systems, Ethernet networks, Profibus networks and CNC/PLC controls
  • Installing machine controls and ensuring transfer to production and the Technical Service
  • Recording work performed (material, hours, etc.) in the Technical Service Information System (SAP Plant Maintenance)
  • You provide technical support to factory employees about the use of new machines and installations
Your profile:
  • A degree in Electrotechnical Installations, Electrical Engineering, Electrotechnical Industrial products and systems
  • You will have the opportunity to follow the necessary specialist training courses
  • Good knowledge of PC systems, ethernet networks and bus systems (profibus, con)
  • Additional courses in the field of CNC, PLC
  • Knowledge of the Dutch language and preferably also English
  • Communicative, flexible, problem-solving and independent
  • The position is in 3 shifts. For you, shift work means that you have the opportunity to organize your own time on a regular basis during the day
The Motor Factory has various production lines that turn rough castings (from a few kg to 400 kg) into products that are accurate to a few hundredths of a millimeter (0.01 mm). The machine park includes machining CNC machines, various transport systems such as robots and cranes that move products, automatic driving vehicles (AGVs), 9 ovens to give products a certain hardness, grinding benches, camera vision systems for quality control, screws and glue. robots, washing machines, a paint shop. Many of these machines run 24/7.

You work in a team of approximately 12 Technicians and are part of a larger team. You report to the Team Leader and Maintenance Supervisor.
