As a Design Engineer CAD/PLM, you will be part of a close-knit engineering team focused on innovation, performance, and reliability. You will use modern design tools, translate engineering challenges into manufacturable solutions, and make a tangible impact on the final product. You are someone who works accurately, communicates well, approaches problems analytically, and enjoys working on both conceptual and detailed engineering tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Design and improve advanced refrigeration and heat pump compressors using state-of-the-art CAD tools
  • Create 3D models, technical drawings, and documentation for quotations, prototypes, and production
  • Maintain and manage design data within the PLM environment
  • Lead and execute engineering change projects
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions
  • Coordinate with Production regarding manufacturability, quality, and cost aspects
  • Perform engineering analyses and cost estimations
  • Provide input for manuals and technical documentation
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Design Engineer CAD/PLM to strengthen our engineering team. The ideal candidate has solid experience with Creo and Windchill and a background in designing complex mechanical systems such as compressors or combustion engines. You will contribute to developing compressors suited for an expanding range of natural refrigerants and applications.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Design Engineer or Mechanical Designer
  • Proficient in Creo
  • Experienced with CAD data management and PLM systems; Windchill knowledge is advantageous
  • Strong understanding of mechanical manufacturing technologies
  • Experience with compressor or combustion engine design is an asset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Creative, innovative, structured, and deadline-oriented
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Fluent in Dutch and English; German is a plus
