Smooth Relocation, Fully Supported:

From visa arrangements to housing and local integration. We guide and support your move to the Netherlands every step of the way. You can focus on your new role while we take care of the logistics.
Full Dutch Contract with Strong Benefits:

You’ll work under a fully Dutch employment contract, including pension, 25+ paid vacation days, and access to all social security benefits. Just like any Dutch employee.
Long-Term Focus with Personal Support:

At Xelvin, you’ll receive personal coaching and support aimed at building a stable, long-term career. Including help with Dutch language learning if desired.

Are you driven by curiosity and precision? Do you enjoy going beyond symptoms to find the real cause behind complex technical failures?

We’re looking for a Failure Analysis Engineer (FA Eng.) to join an innovative high-tech company in the tech center of the Netherlands. In this role, you’ll be the key link between quality, engineering, and production. Uncovering the ‘why’ behind product issues and helping teams across departments solve them for good.

As a FA Engineer, you’ll dive deep into failed systems and components, carry out lab testing, and work closely with design and manufacturing teams to drive lasting improvements. You’ll have access to state-of-the-art tools, an open feedback culture, and endless opportunities to sharpen your skills and expand your impact.

What makes this role exciting:

  • End-to-end ownership: from first failure symptom to final improvement;
  • Broad technical exposure: work with analog/digital circuits, embedded systems, mechatronics;
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration: work with engineering, production, and quality teams;
  • Reverse engineering mindset: focus on why things go wrong, not just how they’re built;
  • Dynamic tech environment: handle multiple products and ever-changing failure types.
Who you are:

  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar;
  • 3+ years of experience in electronics, embedded systems or electronic product development;
  • Analytical thinker with a structured approach to root cause analysis;
  • Hands-on: comfortable using lab tools and diagnostic equipment;
  • Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).
At Xelvin, we connect skilled technical professionals with leading companies in the Netherlands. With a strong presence across the country, we specialize in placing talent in long-term positions where expertise and ambition can truly make an impact.

What sets us apart is our personal approach. We don’t just arrange a job. We guide you through every step, from relocation support and housing arrangements to language training and career coaching. Our goal is to help you settle in, grow in your role, and eventually secure a direct contract with the client under equal or better conditions.

Ready to take the next step in your career in the Netherlands? Let’s make it happen together.
