  • PLC System Triconix (TMR) (Honeywell SCAN – 3000, Allen – Brantley) Mark V and Mark VI (Speed Tonic GE)
  • Bentley Nevada vibration 3500 system & Bentley Nevada 3300 System bypassing.
  • Instrument Maintenance and modification
  • Activities for LNG Plants, Refineries, Petrochemicals, Power Plants and Chemical Plants.
  • International standards and Standard Procedures.
  • P&IDs, Datasheets, Logic Diagrams, Wiring Diagrams, Piping Drawings, Cross-Sectional Drawings, Vendor Manuals and other types of DOCUMENTS / DRAWINGS.
  • Bench & field calibration, loop checking, logic checking, erection, commissioning, preventive & corrective maintenance and troubleshooting activities of almost all types of process control instruments.
  • Transmitters smart, Electronic, Pneumatic (Foxboro, Yokogawa&Rosemount)
  • Switches (Pressure, Level, Flow, Temperature & Proximity) (Sor, Switzer, Delta, Ashcroft &Hycon)
  • I / P Converter (Fisher, Rosemount& Moore)
  • Solenoid Valves (Asco, Festo&Harion)
  • MOV (Rotork&Auma India)
  • Control Valves (Fisher DVC 6000 series, ABB, Drag CCC &Valtek)
  • Gauges & Air regulators (Budenburg, Wika, Guru & Ashcroft)
  • Temperature Elements (RTD & Thermocouple)
  • Level Troll (Fisher and TOKYO KESIO)
  • Vibration Systems: Gap voltage, Alarm & danger setting Bentley Nevada series 3300 & 3500, Calibration removing gap adjustment servicing installation of Bentley Nevada.
Requirements for the role include:
  • Diploma in electrical engineering or, Instrument Technician;
  • Measurement and control engineering course, or willingness to follow this course;
  • Fully fluent in English;
  • Afrikaans is a big plus;
  • You are curious and eager to learn;
  • You can work well under time pressure;
  • Safety is very important to you;

What do we offer?
Contract wise:
· 2-year contract of 40 hours per week (with potential of long-term employment).
· 25 paid holidays a year (+ potential ADV days)
· Public holidays, with a maximum of 7 per year, which are paid by Xelvin.
· Holiday allowance of 8.33% (instead of 8,0%) over your total gross annual income. Paid each year in May.
· Overtime and shift allowance will be paid by Xelvin accordingly.
· Travel allowance of €0,23 per km, for the use of travelling to work and back home.
·The salary will be around €4100 gross per month.
