Your role
As a Cable Engineer, you will be responsible for the complete technical design of high-voltage cable systems (110kV–380kV), both above ground and underground. You will act as the technical link between the customer and the project team, ensuring the safe, efficient and innovative implementation of each cable route.

What will you be doing?

  • Designing, calculating and developing cable routes and 3D layouts with an eye for technical feasibility, safety and applicable laws and regulations;
  • Drawing up technical proposals, quotations and project documentation; you know how to present these convincingly to clients;
  • Intensive collaboration with fellow engineers and other disciplines to ensure that all work complies with current standards and requirements.
We are seeking a motivated professional with:
  • A completed higher professional education or university degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field of study;
  • Relevant experience in high-voltage technology or cable engineering;
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience in the design and dimensioning of high-voltage cable systems (AutoCad, CYME or comparable software);
  • Thorough knowledge of relevant standards and European regulations (IEC/NEN.CENELEC standards)
  • A proactive, solution-oriented attitude and a keen eye for safety and quality.
