What will be your challenge?
As Lead Engineer Piping, you play a vital role within one of our multidisciplinary engineering project teams responsible for bringing our yachts to life. You are the technical authority within the piping discipline and report to the Engineering Coordinator.
Your responsibilities include:
- Discipline Leadership: Acting as the dedicated expert for the piping discipline within the project, applying your in-depth technical knowledge throughout all engineering phases.
- Pre-Building Phase Support: Reviewing and discussing Project Development information and work demarcation during the pre-building process.
- Engineering Quality & Integration: Monitoring the quality of engineering deliverables, ensuring correct interfacing and integration with other disciplines.
- Technical Documentation: Ensuring that drawings, plans, and technical specifications are delivered on time and fully comply with the Building Specification, applicable standards, design codes, rules, and regulations.
- Review & Approval: Reviewing and approving engineering documentation and safeguarding completeness of scope.
- Problem Solving: Proactively identifying complex technical challenges, initiating corrective measures where needed, and ensuring timely and high-quality follow-up.
- Planning & Coordination: Organizing and structuring engineering activities in a way that project objectives are achieved on time.
- Co-Makership: Working closely with partners and co-makers in an aligned and respectful manner, identifying and realizing synergies based on shared expertise.
