To expand our team of technicians at a petrochemical facility in the Netherlands, we are looking for a Technician E&I. Who Are You?

  • A Technician with experience in both electrical and instrumentation systems, ideally within the petrochemical or industrial sectors.
  • Practical experience with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems in high-demand industrial environments.
  • Committed to safety, quality, and precision in all your work, with strong attention to detail and adherence to strict industry regulations.
  • A team player who enjoys collaborating with various disciplines within a project or maintenance team.
  • Able to identify and diagnose issues, proposing effective solutions both independently and in collaboration with others.

What Will You Do?

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on our electrical and instrumentation systems, tools, and buildings.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and/or instrumentation malfunctions independently on critical petrochemical equipment, including control systems and PLCs.
  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure the safe operation of electrical and instrumentation systems in compliance with industry regulations.
  • Identify and order technical parts and equipment internally.
  • Supervise external contractors during maintenance and project execution.
  • Record and report maintenance tasks, daily malfunctions, and performance data.
  • Participate in safety audits, risk assessments, and contribute to efficiency improvements within the plant.
  • A qualification in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related technical field.
  • Relevant certifications in electrical and instrumentation maintenance, with a preference for experience in the petrochemical industry.
  • Experience with industrial electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems in a high-safety, high-performance environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and standards within the petrochemical or industrial sectors, including hazardous area classifications (ATEX/IECEx).
