Your role

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for a wide range of technical activities at customer sites in the Netherlands and abroad, including:

  • Installing and commissioning technical systems;
  • Performing preventive maintenance, inspections and repairs;
  • Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults;
  • Providing technical support and advice to customers;
  • Preparing service reports and completing technical documentation;
  • Working closely with colleagues from the engineering and service departments to deliver the best possible solutions.

You will work independently on-site while remaining part of a highly skilled technical team that supports one another.

  • Completed MBO Level 4 (or equivalent) education in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related technical field;
  • Good command of both Dutch and English (German is an advantage);
  • Experience with installation, maintenance or field service work is a plus;
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills;
  • Customer-focused attitude with a proactive mindset;
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally;
  • Commitment to working safely and maintaining high quality standards;
  • Valid driving licence (Category B, BE is an advantage);
  • Valid VCA certificate or willingness to obtain one.
  • A gross monthly salary between €3,539 and €4,514, depending on your knowledge and experience;
  • A one-year contract with the prospect of a permanent position;
  • 25 vacation days plus 13 additional ADV (reduction of working hours) days based on full-time employment;
