Job Description

Are you an experienced Field Service Engineer who enjoys traveling, solving technical challenges, and working on advanced industrial machinery? Do you want to be part of an international organization where no two projects are the same? Then this opportunity could be the perfect fit.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of high-end process equipment and complete production systems at customer sites around the world. You will act as the technical representative on-site, ensuring installations are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Working closely with Engineering, Project Management, and Service teams, you will play a key role throughout the entire project lifecycle while building strong relationships with customers worldwide.

Your responsibilities

  • Install and commission industrial machinery and complete production lines at customer sites.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control system faults.
  • Test, optimize, and fine-tune equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Train and support operators and maintenance teams.
  • Prepare service reports and provide technical recommendations for improvements.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Project Management to successfully complete projects.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with safety and quality standards.

We are looking for a hands-on engineer with a passion for technology and international travel.

You have:

  • An MBO Level 4 or Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Commissioning Engineer, or Service Technician within machine building or industrial automation.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and preferably PLC-controlled systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills in English (Dutch is an advantage).
  • A willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis.
  • A valid driver’s license (Category B).
  • A customer-focused and independent working attitude.
