Xelvin is looking for motivated HVAC Service Technicians to join its team in the Netherlands. Based in the Spijkenisse/Rotterdam region, you will work on technical installations in industrial environments, helping ensure that buildings and workplaces remain safe, comfortable and energy-efficient.

Your role: HVAC Service Technician



As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and troubleshooting HVAC installations in industrial environments.

You will work independently at customer sites while staying connected to a close-knit team of technicians, service coordinators and technical specialists.

What will you do?

  • Perform maintenance, inspections and repairs on a variety of HVAC and mechanical installations.
  • Diagnose technical faults and find effective, long-lasting solutions.
  • Respond to malfunctions and help minimise downtime for customers.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with customers and the technical management team.
  • Identify the materials and components required for repairs and maintenance.
  • Work alongside colleagues and specialist contractors on more complex technical challenges.
  • Build your knowledge of different installations, systems and technologies through hands-on experience.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call service, including occasional evenings and weekends.

Every installation presents a different challenge. You will have the opportunity to apply your existing knowledge while continuing to learn and improve.

What do you bring?

You do not need to know everything from day one. We are looking for a technician with a solid technical foundation, a practical mindset and the motivation to keep learning.

Ideally, you have:

  • An MBO level 3 qualification or an equivalent technical vocational qualification.
  • At least two years of experience in HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical installation technology or a closely related technical field.
  • Practical experience with maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs. F-gas certificate is a pre.
  • A valid driving licence (category B).
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently.
  • Good communication skills and a willingness to work with colleagues and customers.
  • A genuine interest in developing your technical skills and learning new technologies.
  • Sufficient English to communicate about your work and technical challenges.

Experience with Dutch installations and regulations is an advantage, but your existing technical knowledge and willingness to learn are what matter most.
