Our partner is a leading company in the food industry, dedicated to delivering high-quality products through innovative technology and reliable production processes. In this versatile role, you will be responsible for both preventive and corrective maintenance of various utility systems. You will ensure that all technical facilities remain in top condition so that production can continue to run smoothly. This includes systems essential to the entire process, such as power supply, water and air systems, and supporting technical installations.

You’ll work in a technically strong team where safety, hygiene, and quality always come first. Additionally, you’ll have a varied role in which you’ll not only perform maintenance but also assist with operational tasks and guide external parties.

What will you be doing?

  • Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on utility systems (mechanical, electrical, and control systems);
  • Troubleshooting and performing failure analyses, including making improvement proposals together with operators;
  • Recording work activities and maintenance reports in SAP or similar maintenance systems;
  • Calibrating and adjusting measurement and control instrumentation and supporting process optimization and compliance with standards;
  • Supervising external technicians/suppliers and ensuring safety, cleanliness, and up-to-date technical documentation
  • MBO-level education and thinking skills, preferably at least MBO Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or VAPRO B;
  • Experience in the process industry is a plus; experience with utilities is a definite bonus;
  • You can effectively juggle different priorities and maintain a clear overview;
  • You work safely and according to procedures and have an eye for hygiene and quality;
  • Good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.

What you can expect from us:
  • A 1-year contract, after which you will transition to a direct contract with the client;
  • 25 paid vacation days and 13 ADV days;
  • Vacation allowance of 8%;
  • Of course, applicable overtime and bonuses will be paid;
  • Travel allowance of €0.23 per km for commuting.
