Responsibilities
You are responsible for the entire TCA and Metrology departments during the weekend.
You lead the team of process operators and team leaders.
You supervise and monitor the production process in both departments.
You report to the TCA Manager and work closely with your fellow Shift Leaders who work in the two other shifts.
On your weekday return, you schedule meetings with other shift leaders as well as with other departments (Quality Engineers, Technical Services, Process Engineers, Planning, and PD&E).
You ensure and improve processes and address any issues encountered during the weekend.
You monitor product quality and the technical condition of equipment.
You prevent and manage rejections and any potential incidents.
Leading, coaching, and motivating the team.
Creating and executing the schedule for your shift (in consultation with the Planning Department & TCA Manager).
Monitoring the progress and quality of products and reporting to the TCA Manager (KPI’s).
Maintaining and enhancing the overall level of the team.
Ensuring prevention and management of rejections and incidents.
Advising the TCA Manager on hiring employees and developing your team.
Supervising safe working practices in the department.
Maintaining order and cleanliness in the department.
Conducting performance reviews and appraisal discussions as the direct supervisor for your team.
Acting as a representative of the company within your team and department.
