2017. For football-loving Dutch, this day will go down in history as the day
that Ajax heroically defeated Olympique Lyon and took a giant step towards the
UEFA European Cup final. The technically minded East Netherlands, on the other
hand, was preoccupied with the Xelvin Technical 3.0 training “The Techie
as an ambassador”.
During this training,
given by communication expert Guus Hofstede, our technicians and clients were
coached on the impact of verbal, non-verbal, internal and external
communication using practical examples and exercises. Once again, it became
clear to us that effective communication is not so much about sending and
receiving, but about understanding and connecting.
We look back on a
successful evening. On the one hand, successful because of the new insights
gained, on the other successful because there is always a crazy fun group
dynamic when you connect techies in an informal setting.
