Are you experienced in Revit or BIM and interested in moving your career into the high-voltage and energy infrastructure sector?
As an Electrical BIM Modeler, you will work on the design and development of high-voltage substations in the Netherlands. You will translate electrical engineering input into accurate 3D models and technical drawings, working closely with Primary and Secondary Engineers, Civil Engineers and other BIM specialists.
You will work on both new substations and extensions or modifications of existing installations.
What will you do?
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining BIM models for electrical substation projects.
Your work will include:
- Creating and updating 3D BIM models for high-voltage substations;
- Modelling electrical equipment and substation components in Autodesk Revit;
- Working with equipment such as transformers, circuit breakers, disconnectors, busbars, cable routes and supporting structures;
- Producing layouts, sections, details and technical drawings from the 3D model;
- Adding and maintaining technical information and object data within the BIM environment;
- Coordinating the electrical model with Civil, Structural and other engineering disciplines;
- Identifying clashes and design inconsistencies;
- Processing design changes throughout different project phases;
- Supporting Primary and Secondary Engineers with model-based engineering;
- Contributing to BIM standards, libraries and modelling workflows;
- Checking models and drawings for quality, completeness and constructability.
