Maintenance Technician – Relocate from Portugal to the Netherlands Porto

Are you a hands-on technician who likes fixing things, solving technical problems and working with machines?

Would you also like to use your technical skills in an industry that gives plastic a second life?

We are looking for an All-round Maintenance Technician to join the technical team.

What will you do?

You will be part of the technical maintenance team and help keep the recycling plant running safely and reliably.

Your work can include:

  • Preventive and corrective maintenance
  • Finding and solving technical problems
  • Mechanical repairs
  • Basic electrical troubleshooting
  • Maintenance on pumps, motors, valves and production equipment
  • Replacing and repairing mechanical components
  • Helping when there is a breakdown
  • Working together with production operators and other technicians
  • Improving the reliability of machines and installations

It is a hands-on technical job with plenty of variety.

You could be a good match if you:

  • Have a background in mechanics, electromechanics, mechatronics, electricity or industrial maintenance
  • Have experience as a maintenance technician, mechanic, electromechanical technician or similar
  • Enjoy practical technical work
  • Have some knowledge of both mechanical and electrical systems
  • Are comfortable working in an industrial environment
  • Can communicate in English
  • Are interested in moving to the Netherlands

You don’t need to know everything.

The factory is focused on plastic recycling.

Used PET bottles are collected, sorted, cleaned and processed into high-quality recycled plastic material. This material can then be used again for new bottles, packaging, fibres and other products.

Instead of plastic becoming waste, the goal is to bring it back into the production cycle.

For you as a technician, this means working in a real industrial environment with machinery, production lines, pumps, motors and technical installations that need to keep running every day.

Relocation to the Netherlands

The position is based in the eastern part of the Netherlands.

Moving to another country is a big step, so we help you with the practical side of your relocation.
