We are looking for a driven engineer that wants to contribute to the growth of our position in the South of the Netherlands.

 

·        As a Senior MES software engineer, you design, build and implement IT software for industrial installations for one of our clients.

·        The fast growing business unit of MES & Data Analytics consists of around 55 specialists and is looking for engineers that can strengthen the team.

·        We can count on you to design and realize applications and solutions in an industrial environment.

·        You ensure, in close consultation with the customer and client, that the desired output is correctly translated into a clear and transparent design.

·        You develop, maintain and operate new and existing services in support of site operations

·        Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Application Engineering, Industrial Automation or equivalent industry experience

·        Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 5 years of experience with MES

·        Knowledge and experience in the field of .NET (C#, VB, ASP) / SQL

·        Experience with an MES product/package such as Ignition, AVEVA, TrakSYS, GE PlantApps, Shopfloor-Online or Siemens is an advantage

·        Experience with designing information interfaces, data conversion, and network and infrastructure fundamentals

·        Excellent communication and presentation skills

·        You have affinity with industrial automation

·        Experience with PLC/SCADA is a pre

·        Knowledge of ISA95 / ISA88 is a pre

Offer description

·        2 years Xelvin contract including competitive salary, holiday allowance, paid holidays and pension.

You will join a specialized business unit in Veghel focused on the digitalization and optimization of industrial production environments. The team works at the intersection of MES, data and industrial software, bringing together IT and OT to help manufacturing companies make their production processes smarter, more efficient and more transparent. The business unit works on projects involving Manufacturing Execution Systems, SCADA, data integration and real-time production data. Technologies and platforms such as AVEVA, Parsec and Ignition are used to connect data from different sources and turn it into valuable information for operators, engineers and management. The projects are diverse, ranging from designing and developing MES solutions to integrating these systems with existing automation and ERP environments. There is also an increasing focus on modern data architectures and applications around AI, predictive maintenance and Industry 4.0. You will work within a technically strong team with expertise in industrial processes, software and automation. At the same time, the work is highly project- and customer-oriented, meaning you will be involved in developing and implementing solutions that are directly used in real production environments.
