As a Production Test Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring that complex electronic products can be tested efficiently and reliably throughout the manufacturing process. You will design and develop automated test solutions that support both new product introductions and existing production lines.

Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, including Electronics, Software, Manufacturing, and Quality Engineering, you will contribute to the development of scalable test strategies that improve product quality, optimize production efficiency, and reduce time-to-market. This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of engineering innovation and operational excellence.

  • Design, develop, and implement automated production test solutions for advanced electronic products.
  • Develop software applications and scripts to control test equipment, automate testing procedures, and analyze measurement data.
  • Define and implement test strategies that ensure product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to incorporate Design for Test (DfT) principles during the development phase.
  • Support the introduction of new products into production by developing and validating appropriate test methods.
  • Troubleshoot production test issues and perform root cause analyses to resolve failures effectively.
  • Continuously improve existing test systems to increase reliability, throughput, and yield.
  • Work closely with Manufacturing, Quality, and R&D teams to drive process improvements and optimize production performance.
  • Document test architectures, procedures, and technical solutions in a structured manner.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in developing automated test solutions within a high-tech or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong programming skills, preferably in Python and/or C/C++.
  • Knowledge of electronic systems, measurement techniques, and test equipment.
  • Familiarity with production environments and industrialization processes is considered an advantage.
  • Experience with Design for Test (DfT) methodologies is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.

  • 1 year Xelvin contract including competitive salary, holiday allowance, paid holidays and pension
