My story began far from the Netherlands, in South Africa, where I grew up speaking Afrikaans, the language of home, my mother and everything familiar. Moving to the Netherlands with my husband felt like a big adventure and a new chapter. Seven months later, I started my own journey at Xelvin, not as a candidate, but as a colleague.

What stood out to me was the genuine warmth and support. At Xelvin, ‘together’ isn’t just a value, it’s something you experience every day in the way people support one another and celebrate successes together. I’ll never forget the Mother’s Day surprise when Xelvin flew my mother over from South Africa.

After two and a half years as a Recruiter, I’m taking the next step to Managing Consultant, building my own path within Xelvin while helping others build theirs.
